Official Rules ("Official Rules") or ("Rules") for Technology in Motion 2: Community of the Future Contest ("Contest")

General Contest Information.
Sponsor: Sony Creative Software Inc., located at 1617 Sherman Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin 53704 ("SCS" or "Sponsor").
Contest: Using the Contest Materials, create an original video (in wmv format) regarding how you think technology will change your life in the future. All potential Finalists (defined below) and all potential Fourth Place Winners (defined below) will be required to provide the .veg and .avi files that were generated by the Software at the time they created their Contest Submission using the Software. If a potential Finalist or potential Fourth Place Winner is unable to provide the applicable file, his or her Contest Submission will be disqualified with or without notice. Please do not provide a .veg or .avi file unless Sponsor specifically requests that you do so. However, please be prepared to provide a .veg file and an .avi file because you cannot become a Finalist, a Winner, or a Fourth Place Winner without first submitting the applicable .veg and/or .avi files. Additional details provided below in these Official Rules.
Contest Start Date: 9:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on June 30, 2008.
Contest End Date: In accordance with and subject to these Official Rules, the following end dates apply:
Call for Entries (an online submission available at the Website) must be received by SCS at any time beginning on the Contest Start Date through 12:00 a.m. midnight Pacific Standard Time on October 15, 2008 (the "Contest Entry Period"); and
Contest Submissions and a corresponding Contest Submission Form must be uploaded together at the Website and received by SCS by 12:00 a.m. midnight Pacific Standard Time on April 1, 2009 (the "Contest Submission Deadline").

Contest Materials: Sony Vegas Pro 8 video editing software (the "Software"), which will be provided to qualifying School Group Representatives (defined below) via U.S. mail and otherwise subject to and in accordance with these Official Rules.
Number of Finalists and Winners and Fourth Place Winners: Three (3) potential finalists (each a "Finalist" and collectively the "Finalists") and twenty-five (25) potential Fourth Place Winners will be selected by the Contest Judges based on the following criteria: Creative Elements (Cinematography, Editing, Soundtrack, Effective use of Special Effects, and Film Length), and Technical Elements (Film concept, Originality, Coherence, and Overall Enjoyment) (collectively, the "Contest Criteria") no later than May 1, 2009. One (1) Grand Prize winner (the "Grand Prize Winner"), one (1) second place winner (the "Second Place Winner"), one (1) third place winner (the "Third Place Winner") will be selected from among the Finalists based on the voting by the general public. Those potential Finalists that provide the required Additional Materials in accordance with these Rules will become the Finalists, and those potential Fourth Place Winner that provide the required Additional Materials in accordance with these Rules will become the Fourth Place Winners. (Details below.)
Public Voting: The general public that visits the Website from May 12, 2009 through May 20, 2009 (the "Voting Period") will be invited to rank the Finalists' Contest Submissions on a scale from 1 to 3 in the areas of technical quality and creativity, 3 being the highest rating and 1 being the lowest. The Finalist having the highest overall rating will be the Grand Prize Winner, the second highest will be Second Place Winner, and the third highest will be the Third Place Winner. The Grand Prize Winner, The Second Place Winner, and the Third Place Winner are collectively referred to in these Official Rules as the "Winners".

Contest Judges: The Contest Judges consist of a panel of audio technology experts. The Contest Judges will select the Finalists and Fourth Place Winners based on the Contest Criteria.
Notification of Winners: The Winners (and possibly, at Sponsor's discretion, and or all of the Fourth Place Winners) will be publicly announced at the Official Awards Ceremony held during the National Educational Computing Conference on June 26, 2009 – July 1, 2009, in Washington D.C. (the "Conference"). By entering this Contest, you agree that if your School Group (defined below) is selected as a Finalist, your School Group Representative will be present at the Conference when the Winners are announced. (See the "Selection and Notification of Finalists, Winners and Fourth Place Winners" section of these Official Rules below for additional details.) At Sponsor's discretion, the Fourth Place Winners may or may not be publicly announced at the Conference. The Fourth Place Winners will be notified of their winning status as stated in these Official Rules.

Entry Period; Official Rules.
NOTE: REFERENCES TO "YOU" THROUGHOUT THESE OFFICIAL RULES REFERS TO EACH ENTRANT THAT IS PART OF A SCHOOL GROUP (AS DEFINED HEREAFTER).
To enter the Contest, your School Group Representative must submit your School Group's Call for Entries (form available at the Website) to Sponsor. Call for Entries must be received by Sponsor during the Entry Period to be valid and to qualify. Incomplete Call for Entries and Call for Entries received after the Entry Period will not be considered (with or without notice to you, your School Group or your School Group Representative). After timely submitting a Call for Entries, your School Group Representative will receive from Sponsor a Technology in Motion launch kit ("Launch Kit"), which includes (among other things at Sponsor's discretion) a CD ROM containing the Software (the Software will be delivered to the mailing address provided on the applicable Content Submission Form). Call for Entries that only identify a P.O. Box address may be disqualified with or without notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative).
After you enter the Contest by submitting a qualifying Call for Entries, to be eligible to become a Finalist or Fourth Place Winner, Sponsor must receive your Contest Submission and corresponding Contest Submission Form by the Contest Submission Deadline. Contest Submissions and Contest Submission Forms that are received after the Contest Submission Deadline and Contest Submissions that are incomplete or do not correspond with a qualifying Call for Entries will not be considered by the Contest Judges with or without notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative).
The Website's clock will be the official time keeper for the Contest. The Contest shall be construed according to, and governed exclusively by, United States law. By participating in the Contest, you unconditionally accept and agree to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. If your Call for Entries, Contest Submission or Contest Submission Form is not in compliance with these Official Rules, then you (and your School Group and School Group Representative) may not be eligible to participate in the Contest and your Call for Entries and Contest Submission will not be considered by the Contest Judges and notice may or may not be provided to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative).

Eligibility.
Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Contest open only to residents of the United States who are at least the legal age of majority for entering into contracts in the state in which they reside ("Legal Age"). No purchase necessary. You may only enter as part of a 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade school group ("School Group"); provided, however, to qualify (a) you must have a school advisor/teacher that is of the Legal Age that will be the "School Group Representative" for the applicable School Group, (b) each member of a School Group and the School Group Representative must comply with these Official Rules and provide the Sponsor with the requisite releases when requested by Sponsor, (c) each person that is younger than the applicable Legal Age has parent or legal guardian consent for participation, (d) the School Group Representative must complete and submit all Call for Entries, Contest Submissions, Contest Submission Forms and releases on behalf of you and the other members of the School Group, and (e) all personally identifiable information (email address, mailing address, phone number, etc.) provided in connection with the Contest must belong to the School Group Representative, and not the members of the School Group. In addition to all of the foregoing, if you enter this Contest, your School Group Representative or an acceptable alternative must be prepared to attend the Conference in the event that your School Group is a Finalist.
Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of the Sponsor and their respective parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, and immediate family members of any of the foregoing, are not eligible to enter the Contest.
If your Contest Submission is selected by the Contest Judges as a potential Finalist or a potential Fourth Place Winner, Sponsor may ask your School Group Representative (by telephone and/or by mail and/or email) to provide any or all of the following (at your School Group's own expense) before you are a confirmed Finalist or Fourth Place Winner, as applicable (collectively, the "Additional Materials"):
Valid releases from the School Group Representative ("Entrant Release") in the form provided by clicking here; and
Valid releases from every individual appearing, performing, writing, composing, filming or otherwise performing in your Contest Submission ("Talent Releases") in the form provided by clicking here. The Talent Releases must be signed by such individuals (and if the individuals are under the Legal Age, then the Talent Releases must be signed by the individual's parent or legal guardian to be valid); and
Valid releases from the owner of every private location in which the Contest Submission was filmed ("Location Releases") in the form provided by clicking here.
See the section entitled "Selection and Notification of Finalists, Winners and Fourth Place Winners" below for directions concerning where your School Group Representative must send Additional Materials if they are requested. If you are requested to provide Additional Materials and Sponsor does not receive the requested Additional Materials within seven (7) days of Sponsor's request, then you will not be a Finalist or a Fourth Place Winner, as applicable. Sponsor may or may not, at their discretion, provide notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative) of your ineligibility and your ineligibility will not prohibit Sponsor and the Contest Judges from selecting actual Finalists and Fourth Place Winners and determining actual Winners and Fourth Place Winners. Sponsor shall have no liability for any Call for Entries, Contest Submissions, Contest Submission Forms, Software, or Additional Materials that are lost, intercepted or not timely received for any reason whatsoever.

How to Enter the Contest.
You may only enter if you are a School Group.

Create and Submit a Call for Entries.
Submit a Call for Entries form online at the Website (among other things, your Call for Entries must include a description of your forthcoming Contest Submission in 500 words or less). If the Contest Submission you later provide differs from your Call for Entries, you will not be disqualified, however, you must do your best to provide an accurate summary of your Contest Submission. If you provide a Call for Entries that is longer than 500 words, Sponsor reserve the right to disqualify your Contest Submission with or without notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative). All Call for Entries must be received by Sponsor during the Entry Period. Incomplete Call for Entries and Call for Entries received after the Entry Period will be disqualified with or without notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative). Your Call for Entries must be in compliance with the Guidelines (see below). If you fail to submit your Call for Entries in accordance with these Official Rules, Sponsor may disqualify you from the Contest with or without notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative).
In order to become a potential Finalist or Fourth Place Winner, you may be required by Sponsor to provide a hand-signed copy of your Call for Entries form. This form can be provided by email, fax and mail and must be provided within seven (7) days of Sponsor's' request therefore. Do not send a hand-signed copy of your Call for Entries form until you are requested to do so by Sponsor.
Please note that by entering the Contest, you represent and warrant that your Call for Entries does not contain any elements that infringe upon the rights of any third party and that your Call for Entries is an original work created and produced solely by you (and the other members of your School Group and your School Group Representative). Enter as many Call for Entries as you want. Call for Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative) and may be used by Sponsor (collectively or individually) in accordance with the rights granted in these Official Rules. Sponsor is not responsible for any Call for Entries that are lost, intercepted or not received by Sponsor for any reason whatsoever.

Create a Contest Submission.
After you submit your Call for Entries in accordance with these Official Rules, your School Group Representative will receive (as a part of the Launch Kit) a CD ROM containing the Software in the mail at the address provided on your Call for Entries. Included with the Software will be a "Contest Entry ID".
Using the Software, create a new video composition (in wmv format and no longer than five (5) minutes in length) regarding how you think technology will change your future (the "Contest Submission"). In order to be a Finalist (and ultimately a Winner) or Fourth Place Winner, upon request by Sponsor, you will be required to provide the .veg and the .avi file that corresponds with your Contest Submission and that was generated by the Software when you created your Contest Submission (more details provided below).
Please note that by entering the Contest, you represent and warrant that your Contest Submission does not contain any elements that infringe upon the rights of any third party and that your Contest Submission is an original work created and produced solely by you (and the other members of your School Group and your School Group Representative). Enter as many Contest Submissions as you want. Contest Submissions become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative) and may be used by Sponsor (collectively or individually) in accordance with the rights granted in these Official Rules. Your Contest Submission must be in compliance with the Guidelines (see below). If you fail to submit your Contest Submission in accordance with these Official Rules, Sponsor may disqualify you from the Contest with or without notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative).

Guidelines for Call for Entries and Contest Submissions.
All Call for Entries and all Contest Submissions must comply with all of the below guidelines ("Guidelines"). Failure to strictly comply with the Guidelines may result in exclusion of your Call for Entries and/or Contest Submission with or without notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative). Sponsor and the Contest Judges will make the final determinations as to whether your Call for Entries and Contest Submission comply with the Guidelines.
Guidelines:
- All Call for Entries and Contest Submissions must be submitted in the format indicated in these Official Rules. Read these Official Rules carefully.
- Refrain from utilizing creative that simulates news reports.
- "Bleeps" that imply uses of profanity are not acceptable and may not be used.
- No reference, be it direct or indirect, may be made to a commercial product.
- Call for Entries and Contest Submissions shall not contain, include or involve any of the following:
- Obscenity.
- Crude, vulgar or offensive pictures, depictions, images, language and/or symbols.
- Gang signs or symbols.
- Gratuitous violence, gun or other imagery or gestures of weapons.
- Nudity.
- Explicit, graphic or excessive sexual activity.
- Commercial products (e.g., clothing, toys, food) and/or their trademarks, brands or logos.
- Hard liquor, beer, wine or other alcohol use or product images.
- License plates, phone numbers, personal addresses - physical or email or otherwise.
- Website or web page links.
- Music, lyrics, photos, artwork, and any other such elements for which full releases have not been obtained by entrant;
- Illegal drug or alcohol and tobacco use or abuse.
- Derogatory characterizations of any ethnic, racial, sexual or religious groups. humiliate other people (publicly or otherwise), any assault or threatening of others
- Trespass or the violation of other people's rights or property.
- Illegal (e.g., discriminatory, harassing) or inappropriate activity, behavior or conduct (e.g., inflicting emotional distress).
- Conduct or activities in violation of these Official Rules.
- Any other content, display, materials and/or images that is or could be considered inappropriate, unsuitable or offensive, as determined by Sponsors, in its sole discretion.
In submitting a Call for Entries and Contest Submission, each member of the School Group and the School Group Representative, agrees to, confirms and represents to Sponsor that neither he/she nor anyone else has engaged or taken part in (or induced or encouraged anyone else to do so) in any activity or conduct that (i) may or is likely to harm or create a risk of harm, physical or mental injury, emotional distress, death, disability, disfigurement, or physical or mental illness to any person, other living thing or any property, (ii) may or is likely to create a risk of any other loss or damage to person, living things or property, (iii) is or may constitute a crime, unlawful or non-consensual activities (e.g., conduct that could lead to criminal prosecution), tortious conduct (e.g., conduct that could lead to civil prosecution) or the violation or infringement of the rights of any other party or (iv) violates any of the terms or conditions of these Official Rules. Sponsor is not obligated to review, consider, use, publish, display or broadcast any Call for Entries or Contest Submission; however, each entrant acknowledges that Sponsor will rely on such individuals' agreement and compliance with these Official Rules when you submit or attempt to submit a Call for Entries or Contest Submission. Sponsor (and any and all of Sponsor's subsidiaries and affiliates) shall have the right to use any materials submitted pursuant to these Contest Rules in or on any Sponsor's web site, and in or on any other program, programming channel, broadcast, other public display or performance, in any media whether now known or hereafter developed, at any time in the future, without notice and without compensation, royalty, accounting, liability or obligation to any entrant of any kind. Such uses are entirely within Sponsor's discretion and are not guaranteed, even for winning Contest Submissions. Sponsor is not obligated to use and do not guarantee that winning Contest Submissions will be used in any of the manners stated in these rules or that winning Contest Submissions will be used in any manner.
Any Call for Entries or Contest Submission which does not conform to these Official Rules may be excluded as ineligible with or without notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative), in Sponsor's discretion. Incomplete or inaccurate entries are void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Submission of Your Contest Submission and Contest Submission Form.
Your School Group Representative must submit your Contest Submission and a completed corresponding Contest Submission Form to Sponsor by uploading both together at the Website on or before the Contest Submission Deadline (the Contest Submission Form is an online template that will be available at the Website as a part of the process for uploading a Content Submission). Contest Submissions and Contest Submission Forms received after this date will be disqualified with or without notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative). You must upload your Contest Submission at the Website by visiting the Website and following the available instructions. At the same time, you must complete your on-line Contest Submission Form at the Website. Sponsor does not guarantee that the Website and uploading capability at the Website will be available at all times. If you or your School Group Representative attempts to visit the Website or upload to the Website and it is not working, then please visit again. Sponsor shall not be liable for your or your School Group Representative's inability to upload your Contest Submission and/or Contest Submission Form due to technical reasons or otherwise.
When you upload your Contest Submission, you will be required to provide the Contest Submission ID that was provided by Sponsor to your School Group Representative with the Software (you will also be required to provide the Contest Submission ID and your name (first and last) on your Contest Submission Form). If you do not provide a valid and qualifying Contest Submission ID, or you provide non-matching Contest Submission IDs and School Group Representative names, or that do not match to a qualifying Call for Entry form, your Contest Submission and Contest Submission Form may be disqualified with or without notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative). Sponsor reserve the right to ask for additional information from your School Group Representative to ensure that your Contest Submission matches a previously provided and qualifying Call for Entries. If Sponsor believes (in its discretion) that your Contest Submission does not match with a qualifying Call for Entries, Sponsor has the right to disqualify your Contest Submission with or without notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative).
Please upload your Contest Submission in wmv format. No other formats will be accepted and your Contest Submission may be disqualified with or without notice to you (or your School Group or your School Group Representative), at Sponsor's discretion if you upload or attempt to upload your Contest Submission in a different format. In addition, Sponsor may or may not provide notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative) if your Contest Submission or Contest Submission Form is improperly uploaded.
In order to be a Finalist (and ultimately a Winner) or a Fourth Place Winner, you will be required to provide (within 7 days of Sponsor's request) the .veg file generated by the Software when you created your Contest Submission. In order to be a Winner or Fourth Place Winner, you will be required to provide (within 7 days of Sponsor's request) the .avi file generated by the Software when you created your Contest Submission. Requests will be made by Sponsor via email using the email address that you provided on your original Contest Submission Form. Sponsor will request a .veg file only from potential Finalists and potential Fourth Place Winners and will request an .avi file only from potential Winners and potential Fourth Place Winners. Contest Submission .veg files and .avi files must be submitted via email to the Sponsor upon request. DO NOT PROVIDE A .VEG OR AN .AVI FILE OF YOUR CONTEST SUBMISSION UNLESS SPONSOR REQUESTS THE APPLICABLE FILE FROM YOU. A .veg file and an .avi file may only be created using the Software. If you fail to provide a .veg and/or an .avi file within 7days of Sponsor's request, your Contest Submission will be disqualified with or without notice to you or your School Group.

Ownership.
When your School Group Representative submits your Call for Entries or Contest Submission, every member of your School Group acknowledges and agrees that the members maintain ownership of the Call for Entries and Contest Submission and all of their contests (although the Call for Entries and the Contest Submission, once submitted to Sponsor, will not be returned to you (or your School Group or your School Group Representative); provided, however, by submitting the Contest Submission to Sponsor, you (and every member of your School Group and your School Group Representative) are granting, and have the full power and authority to grant, to Sponsor and their affiliates, successors and assigns all present and future right, title and interest of every kind and nature whatsoever, including, without limitation, (a) all copyrights, (b) all music and music publishing rights, and (c) all rights incidental, subsidiary, ancillary or allied thereto (including, without limitation, all derivative rights) in and to the Contest Submissions for exploitation throughout the universe, in perpetuity, by means of any and all media and devices whether now known or hereafter devised. Sponsor shall have the right to edit, composite, morph, scan, duplicate, or alter the Contest Submissions for any purpose which Sponsor deem necessary or desirable, and you (and every member of your School Group and your School Group Representative) irrevocably waive any and all so-called moral rights that you or they may have in the Contest Submissions submitted by you or your School Group. You hereby acknowledge that you do not reserve any rights in and to the Call for Entries and the Content Submissions.

Use of Contest Materials.
You acknowledge and agree that: (a) your use of the Software is subject to all end user license agreements, terms of service, and other terms, conditions and agreements provided with the Software or that are otherwise related to the Software (the "Software Terms and Agreements"), and (b) any use by you of the Software other than as permitted by the Software Terms and Agreements will constitute a violation of these Official Rules and may constitute copyright or intellectual property infringement and will result in your and your School Group's disqualification from the Contest with or without notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative), in Sponsor's discretion.

Selection and Notification of Finalists and Winners.
Following the end of the Entry Period, the Contest Judges will select: (i) three (3) Contest Submissions for which the corresponding School Groups will be the potential Finalists for the Contest, and (ii) twenty-five Contest Submissions for which the corresponding School Groups will be the potential Fourth Place Winners for the Contest. (A School Group that submits more than one (1) Contest Submission may be a potential Finalist and/or a potential Fourth Place Winner more than once. These Contest Submissions will be selected based on the Contest Criteria and based on compliance with these Official Rules and the Guidelines. The potential Finalists' and Fourth Place Winners' School Group Representatives will be notified by telephone, mail, or email, at which time they may be requested to provide Additional Materials within seven (7) days. (See the "Eligibility" section above for additional details.) If a School Group Representative for a potential Finalist or Fourth Place Winner is able to provide adequate Additional Materials (if requested), as judged by the Contest Judges, then the School Group Representative for the potential Finalist or Fourth Place Winner, as applicable, will be notified by telephone and/or mail and/or email that he or she is a confirmed Finalist or Fourth Place Winner, as applicable. If a School Group Representative for a prospective Finalist or Fourth Place Winner is not able to provide adequate Additional Materials (if requested), as judged by the Contest Judges, then the applicable School Group's Contest Submission will be disqualified with or without notice to you (or your School Group or School Group Representative) and another Finalist or Fourth Place Winner, as applicable, may be selected. The Contest Judges' decisions shall be final and binding. Sponsor shall have no liability for any Finalist or Fourth Place Winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by the potential Finalist or Fourth Place Winner for any reason.
Following final selection of the Finalists and Fourth Place Winners, Sponsor will notify the applicable School Group Representatives by email, telephone, or mail and will inform them of their Finalist or Fourth Place Winner status.
In addition, following final selection of the Finalists, Sponsor will make the Contest Submissions belonging to the Finalists available for public viewing at the Website. (Note that Contest Submissions belonging o the Fourth Place Winners will be made available for public viewing at the Website only at Sponsor's sole discretion. These Contest Submissions will not be voted on as they will have already been confirmed as Fourth Place Winners.) Language available at the Website will ask public viewers to rate the Finalist Contest Submissions based on the Contest Criteria. The Finalist submission that receives the highest combined rating will be the potential Grand Prize Winner. The Finalist Contest Submission that receives the second highest combined rating will be the potential Second Place Winner and the Finalist Contest Submission that receives the third highest combined rating will be the potential Third Place Winner. In the event of a tie, the Contest Judges will determine the potential Winners based on the Contest Criteria (the Contest Judges' decisions shall be final and binding). To be counted, a vote must be received by the end of the Voting Period. Sponsor reserves the right to void or eliminate votes that it believes are fraudulently or improperly provided. Sponsor agrees that it will not provide any information about you (or your School Group's members or the School Group Representative) at the Website in connection with the posted Finalist submissions.
Following the Conference, prizes will be provided to the Fourth Place Winners at the address provided on the respective Fourth Place Winners' Call for Entries Forms.
Following the Voting Period, Sponsor will notify the applicable School Group Representatives for the Winners by email, telephone, or mail and will inform them of their confirmed Winner status. Following the Conference, prizes will be provided to the Winners at the address provided on the respective Winners' Call for Entries Forms. In addition, Sponsor will email the School Group Representatives for the Winners hotel accommodations information in connection with the Conference (see the "Mandatory Attendance at the Conference" section below for more details).

Mandatory Attendance at the Conference.
The School Group Representative for each of the Winners (one (1) per School Group Winner) must be in attendance at the Conference. By submitting a Contest Submission, you agree that Sponsor and the Sponsor of the Conference may (at their discretion) announce at the Conference the name of the school that corresponds with the Winners and Fourth Place Winners and the name of the School Group Representative for the Winners and Fourth Place Winners. In addition, by entering the Contest, you agree that of you are a Winner, your School Group Representative will be present at the Conference. Also, Sponsor and the Sponsor of the Conference may (at Sponsor's discretion) show, publicly perform or display the winning Contest Submissions (including the Contest Submissions for any or all of the Fourth Place Winners). In addition, Sponsor reserves the right (but do not guarantee) to post at the Website the name of the school that corresponds with the winning Contest Submissions (including any or all of the Fourth Place Winner Contest Submission), to make available for public viewing at the Website the winning Contest Submissions (including any or all of the Fourth Place Winner Contest Submissions), and to issue a press release or other public announcement naming any or all of the Winners or any or all of the Fourth Place Winners (by school name and location, School Group, School Group Representative, and/or every individual appearing, performing, writing, composing, filming or otherwise performing in your Contest Submission).
In addition to the single School Group Representative, one (1) additional representative of Legal Age may attend the Conference on behalf of each Winner School Group (each an "Additional School Group Representative") for purposes of publicly representing the School Group. Sponsor reserves the right to announce such Additional School Group Representatives' names (first and last) at the Conference.
Sponsor agrees to reimburse each Winner School Group's School Group Representative and Additional School Group Representative for limited travel expenses actually spent in connection with attending the Conference. Reimbursements will be made to the School Group Representative only (and the School Group Representative may share the reimbursement with the Additional School Group Representative). Each School Group will be reimbursed a maximum of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00) for air (coach only) and ground transportation, hotel accommodation expenses, and registration fees actually spent by the applicable School Group Representatives and Additional School Group Representatives in connection with attending the Conference on behalf of their School Group (the "Maximum Reimbursement"). All costs and expenses that exceed the Maximum Reimbursement must be paid for by the applicable School Group. Payment of the Maximum Reimbursement will be by check payable to the one (1) School Group Representative for each winning School Group. Payment of the Maximum Reimbursement will be subject to SCS receiving acceptable written documentation that is proof of applicable expenses (subject to Sponsor's sole discretion), which must be received by Sponsor from the winning School Group Representatives within twenty (20) days of the date of the Conference. Checks will be mailed to applicable School Group Representatives by SCS within eighty (80) days from the date of the Conference. The Maximum Reimbursement may only be applied toward air (coach only) and ground transportation expenses incurred for travel on the date of the Conference, June 28, 2009 and July 1, 2008. The Maximum Reimbursement may only be applied toward a maximum 2-night stay (during the conference dates at a hotel selected by the sponsor on or before June 1st, 2009 (e.g., one 2-night stay for the School Group Representative and one 2-night stay for the Additional School Representative). To be reimbursed, hotel accommodations must be confirmed by the applicable School Group Representative before June 15, 2009 using the reservation number provided by Sponsor to the applicable School Group Representatives. By providing a Call for Entries, you agree that Sponsor is not responsible for any harm or injury that any individual may incur while traveling in connection with attending the Conference, or attending the Conference.
Following the Conference, prizes will be provided at the address provided on the respective Winners' Call for Entries Form.
Written proof of expenses should be sent by the School Group Representatives to Sponsor by August 1, 2009 at the following address and the applicable Contest Submission ID should be included in the same envelope: Sony Creative Software Inc., 1617 Sherman Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin 53704, ATTN: Technology in Motion Contest.
Written proof of expenses will be automatically rejected without notice if the Contest Submission ID is not provided in the same envelope.
FOURTH PLACE WINNERS WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED FOR ANY EXPENSES (INLCUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TRAVEL EXPENSES) IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONFERENCE. IF A FOURTH PLACE WINNER SCHOOL GROUP OR SCHOOL GROUP REPRESENTATIVE ATTENDS THE CONFERENCE, THEN HE/SHE IS NOT ATTENDING AS A PART OF THE CONTEST AND SPONSOR WILL NOT REIMBURSE THE APPLICABLE SCHOOL GROUPS OR INDIVIDUALS FOR ANY COSTS, EXPENSES, ETC. SPONSOR DOES NOT SPONSOR FOURTH PLACE WINNER ATTEDANCE AT THE CONFERENCE.

Prizes.
Following the Conference, the Prizes will be awarded to the winning School Group Representatives. The Prizes are not transferable or assignable and they are not redeemable for cash, except that Sponsor reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the Prize is unavailable. If you are a Winner or Fourth Place Winner, you, the members of your School Group and your School Group Representative are jointly responsible for the payment of any and all taxes and/or licenses and/or other related local, State, Federal and/or National fees that may apply to such winnings. Prizes will be awarded only in the name of your School Group Representative on your school's behalf.

Representations and Warranties/Indemnification.
By entering into this Contest, you (and each member of your School Group and your School Group Representative) represent and warrant to Sponsor that the Contest Submissions: (a) are your (e.g., your School Group's) own original, previously-unrecorded work, (b) are not the subject of any actual or threatened litigation or claim, (c) do not infringe upon or violate the intellectual property rights or other rights of any other person or entity, (d) do not and will not violate any applicable laws, and (e) are not and will not be defamatory, libelous, pornographic, or obscene. You (and all members of your School Group and the School Group Representative) hereby agree to indemnify and hold Sponsor and their affiliates and agents harmless from and against any and all third party claims, actions or proceedings of any kind and from any and all damages, liabilities, costs and expenses relating to or arising out of any breach or alleged breach of any of your warranties, representations or agreements hereunder.

Conditions.
Sponsor reserve the right in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Contest for any reason or for no reason at all whatsoever at any time (this includes if any bug, virus or other cause beyond the Sponsor's control corrupts the administration or security of the Contest). Sponsor may prohibit you (and your School Group and your School Group Representative) from participating in the Contest if, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, you (or your School Group or School Group Representative) repeatedly show a disregard for these Official Rules, act in an unsportsmanlike manner, act with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other participant or any representative of any Sponsor, or act in any other disruptive manner. Contest Submissions may be disqualified in the Sponsor's sole discretion if attempts are made to disrupt the Contest or circumvent the provisions of these Official Rules; in such event, the Sponsor reserve the right to remedy any such action, disruption or circumvention in a manner which is, in Sponsor's sole opinion, fair and equitable to Contest participants. The Sponsor (and their officers, directors, employees, shareholders, agents and representatives, and the parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates of the foregoing, and the advertising, promotion and legal advisors thereof) are not responsible for: (a) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible Contest Submission Summaries, Contest Submissions or Contest Submission Forms, (b) any failure or malfunction of, or difficulty with, any telephone line, cable line or other means of transmission, or any computer or other equipment, or any software or other program, (c) errors in transmission, (d) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor that may cause damage to any participant's hardware or software, (e) any injury, loss or damage of any kind caused by any Prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use or misuse of any Prize, or from participation in the Contest or any Contest related activity, or (f) any printing or typographical error in any materials associated with the Contest.

Governing Law and Arbitration.
This Agreement shall be governed and construed under the laws of the State of California, without application of its conflict of laws principles.

Further Documentation.
If Sponsor desire to secure additional assignments or other documents as Sponsor may reasonably require in order to effectuate the provisions of these Official Rules or the ownership of the materials comprising the Contest Submission, then you agree that you and/or your School Group Representative will sign the same upon Sponsor's request.

No Obligation to Use.
Sponsor shall have no obligation (express or implied) to use any Contest Submission, or to develop, produce, distribute or otherwise exploit the Contest Submissions, and you (and your School Group and your School Group Representative) shall not be entitled to any damages or other relief by reason thereof.

Nature of Relationship / Waiver of Equitable Relief.
You (and your School Group and your School Group Representative) hereby acknowledge and agree that the relationship between you and Sponsor is not a confidential, fiduciary, or other special relationship. You (and your School Group and your School Group Representia) understand and acknowledge that Sponsor has wide access to ideas and material, and that new ideas are constantly being submitted to it or being developed by its own employees. You (and your School Group and your School Group Representative) also acknowledge that many ideas or stories may be competitive with, similar or identical to your Contest Submissions and/or each other in any number of other respects. You (and all members of your School Group and the School Group Representative) hereby acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to any compensation as a result of Sponsor' use of the Contest Submissions or any such similar or identical material that has or may come to Sponsor from other sources. You (and all members of your School Group and the School Group Representative) hereby acknowledge and agree that Sponsor do not now and shall not have in the future any duty or liability, direct or indirect, vicarious, contributory, or otherwise, with respect to the infringement or protection of your rights, if any, in the Additional Elements. Finally, you (and all members of your School Group and the School Group Representative) hereby acknowledge that, with respect to any claim by entrant relating to or arising out of Sponsor' actual or alleged exploitation or use of any of your Contest Submissions or other material submitted in connection with the Contest, the damage, if any, thereby caused to you will not be irreparable or otherwise sufficient to entitle you to seek injunctive or other equitable relief or in any way enjoin the production, distribution, exhibition or other exploitation of anything based on or allegedly based on the Contest Submissions, and your rights and remedies in any such event shall be strictly limited to the right to recover damages, if any, in an action at law.

Invalidity.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
